H.M.S. GANGES

In these pages we look at the Shore Establishment of HMS Ganges. Ganges was a Royal Navy training establishment for new recruits, located in Shotley, Suffolk, England. It was commissioned in 1905 and served as a training facility for naval personnel until its closure in 1976.
