Couldn't resist this as a page.  It is nothing really to do with our cruising life but does go back to 'sailing' in terms of large ships and the Royal Navy.  One commission in particular had some great ups (and not too many downs), 2.5 years on H.M.S. Eagle.  This page is dedicated to the guys that served on Eagle, a rogues gallery you might say.  The idea is to build up a view of the guys as youngsters, some of when we were in the Navy and now (silly old sods the lot of us).  Just a bit of fun really but to us Eagle lads it is part of our history.  In no particular order (as I receive the photos then they will go on). Sorry George you have lost top spot to an excellent skipper and a real gentleman, Capt Empson.  Good photographs guys, keep them coming.  Under Navy/Eagle we can only show 2 or 3 photographs.  To see a larger version just click on the thumbnail.  My thanks to Eggbert for the 'baby' pictures I bought whilst on Eagle, they are still first class and I thought they would fit well on this page (I don't have a scanner on board to have had to photograph them).  Getting carried away with this I have also added a link below to pages for the various ships and establishments served on, Ganges being the first of course (great place, great memories).   Unfortunately, as at this time, you will not be ab le to click on each picture to see a larger version.  I will sort this out as soon as possible.
